The Yes vote is down in the polling, but some of the progressive Indigenous No voters have switched to Yes this week.
Clive Palmer is launching a big ad campaign against the Voice. He’s focusing on South Australia and Queensland. I’m guessing he’s not bothering with WA because he knows he’s not popular over here 🙂
Wil Stracke on TikTok points out that the arguments against the Voice sound exactly like the arguments people had against giving women the vote.

Which is great, firstly because Megan Davis is one of the people who helped organise the Dialogues that led to the Uluru Statement of the Heart, so it’s good to hear why she believes in it. And secondly because the Quarterly Essay usually costs $28. You can get also borrow it for free from libraries though.
